The Women in Law Conference, organized by the Organization of Women Law Students and Staff, will take place on Friday, April 12 from 12:30-2:15 p.m. at the Boyd Law Building, room 225.
The event will begin with the Katherine Finn Milleman Memorial Lecture presented by Professor Nancy Hauserman, Management and Organizations, UI Tippie College of Business and COL affiliated faculty member. Following the lecture, the Katherine Finn Milleman Memorial Scholarship will be awarded, with a reception immediately afterward in the fourth floor student lounge.
The topic of the Belle Babbs Mansfield Women in Law Conference is: Having it All: Modern Career-Work Life Balance. Some of the panelists will include L. Song Richardson, UI Professor of Law; Cathy Pugh, Development Director, United Action for Youth; Felicia Bertin Rocha, ’99, Attorney, Bertin Rocha Law Firm; Mindy Olson, ’05, Paulson Electric; and Elisabeth Reynoldson, ’92, Iowa Attorney General, Criminal Appeals Division. Additional panelists may be announced.
