The History of the Common Law: What Can We Learn from the Ryder Sources?

In this half-hour lecture delivered at the University of Iowa College of Law in September 2013, Professor Gallanis speaks about a book he is writing for the London-based Selden Society.  The book focuses on what can be gleaned from the papers of Sir Dudley Ryder, who served as Chief Justice of the Court of King’s Bench from 1754 to 1756.  To hear the lecture, please click here.
