Looking for Legislative Histories on Laws Impacting Taxation, Securities, or the Economy?
The new HeinOnline library Taxation & Economic Reform in America, A Historical Archive, 1781-2009 provides access to over 900 volumes and one million pages of legislative history publications on critical tax and economic reform legislation enacted over the country’s history. It consists of searchable, PDF images of compiled legislative histories including the 146 volume Carlton Fox collection covering the internal revenue laws from 1909-1950. It provides access to legislative histories on the Banking Act of 1933, Securities Act of 1933, and Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as well as more recent laws such as the Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001, Pension Protection Act of 2006, and Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008.
