Update on Flu Shots

The University of Iowa Hospitals does not have seasonal flu shots available.   It may be as late as January before a new supply arrives.  You can contact your primary care doctor to see if they have a supply of the seasonal flu shot.

The county dictates who receives the H1N1 flu shot.  As of now only employees within the UI Hospital who have hands-on contact with patients can get the shot.   No other UI employees are eligible.
