Fall 2011 Volunteer Fair – August 31st

The IOWA Challenge calls on all Hawkeyes to Excel, Stretch, Engage, Choose, and to SERVE. The impulse to serve others is strong among Hawkeyes, and on Wednesday, August 31, you will have a great chance to find a way to serve others in the community. Over 70 community agencies will be on campus looking for volunteers at our Fall Volunteer Fair.   This is a good time to learn about all of the volunteer opportunities available in the community.  We hope to see you there!

Time:  11:00am — 3:00pm

Location:  Main Lounge, IMU

What:  This is your chance to meet up to 70 community agencies in the Iowa City and surrounding areas that require volunteers to help with their programs, events, and services.

If you visit eight (8) agencies and have them sign your passport, you will get a free 2011 Volunteer Fair t-shirt!  Free cookies and beverages.

Don’t miss this chance to learn about all the ways in which you can serve the Iowa City community!
